Composed at just 16 years old, Dmitri Shostakovich’s Piano Trio No. 1 in C minor, Op. 8 is an impressive early work. A dedication to his first love, Tatyana Glivenko, it’s filled with raw emotion and contrasts between light and shadow. With its delicate, lyrical passages, the trio also hints at the darker, more complex themes Shostakovich would explore in his later career.

🌟Uuff, my 2-week Instagram challenge finishes today🌟

wow, what an interesting process, definitely took me out of my comfort zone and brought some new experiences!

the goal was to share my daily practice and behind scenes as a classical musician and post every day for 2 weeks without overthinking it..and i would say i managed about 50/50 on that😁
another thing was to shoot just one take and post it, but it was difficult for me and i still wanted to have more options..🤓

🌟positives:

🌟feeling more at ease showing up online
🌟getting comfortable recording myself daily
🌟pushing my own limits
🌟put me to be consistent
🌟feeling more connected with you all

⚡️challenges:

⚡️spent more time on the platform than usual
⚡️fears what people might think
⚡️some days was quite exhausting
⚡️found myself checking video performance a little too often (helpful for insights, but easy to overdo!)

overall recommend trying this as a personal growth excercise😁✨

with amazing musicians of @kammerakademie.potsdam at the Schlosstheater was an intense experience and fun, with just 13 musicians playing the opera Idomeneo and Mussorgsky´s Pictures at the exhibition at this magical place, music that demanded everything from us🤪🤩🌟🎶

and realised its so great to play arias, can we make more arrangements for bassoon?🙊🥰🎶

happy i managed also to visit @museumbarberini and their beautiful impressionistic collection, was a great inspiration🥰🌸
